PaperPort Professional provides powerful PDF creation right on the PaperPort desktop. You can automatically create searchable PDF files from scanned documents or convert any application file to PDF. PaperPort produces industry-standard PDF files that are compatible with, but do not require, Adobe® Acrobat®, and provide document security features to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
Includes PDF Create Assistant Utility – Batch Create PDFs
PDF Create Assistant is a separate utility that can be used to batch create PDF files, without opening PaperPort or the PDF Viewer. Scan efficient, small colour PDF files for sharing
Scanning and sharing colour PDF files can be a daunting task. Each page of a typically scanned colour PDF file can be over a megabyte in size. If you are scanning several colour pages or more, the size can be too large to send that file through email. PaperPort Professional now uses PDF-MRC High Compression Technology to turn a 15MB colour file into less than 2MB!
Capture review comments with a rich set of annotations
For capturing review comments, PaperPort supports creating and viewing annotations within PDF files, including sticky notes and highlights, as well as straight and free-form lines. Text boxes provide full control over text and box attributes.
Dynamic and transparent stamps
PaperPort’s dynamic stamps automatically include author, date and time. Transparent stamps are ideal for adding scanned signatures to documents to indicate approval.
